I reached out to Theresa from Konigshaus German Shepherds when I was looking for a german shepherd as a PSA sport prospect. I told her what I was looking for and she explained in great detail the breedings she had coming up and which she would recommend for what I was looking for. She explained the pros and cons of each and made sure I was fully informed when making my decision. Once my puppy was on the ground she kept me in the loop, sent pictures and guided me through the puppy selection process. My dog is 2 now and getting a puppy from Konigshaus was the best decision I could have made. She is exactly what I was hoping for and she impresses everyone who sees her on the field. We recently closed out her PDC with the highest PDC protection score of the weekend. Theresa really cares about her dogs and where they go and has continued to be involved in raising my puppy whether it's cheering us on in trials or answering whatever questions I have even 2 years later. Through my years of following her, I've seen her take back dogs from her breedings when they aren't working out in their homes and she has been very transparent and honest about what each of her dogs brings to the table and what their cons might be. I don't know of a more ethical breeder in the US that is also producing top-performing german shepherds in every sport. I can not recommend Konigshaus enough!!

Anyone looking for a quality German Shepherd would be more than fortunate to get a puppy from this kennel. Theresa Currier is so knowledgeable about the breed and can help a potential buyer know if the breed is for them. I have two females from her. The six year old has obedience titles, but her love is flyball. The two year old is just about ready to debut in flyball. These girls would do anything I wanted to do and both have nice temperaments. They are everything Theresa told me to expect. I will never go anywhere but Konigshaus for my German Shepherds.

I have been involved in working protection dogs for 16 years now, and  have had quite a few puppies from various breeders. My experiences have ranged from some good to mostly poor. Theresa of Konigshaus has been the best experience by far. Not only with the professionalism that was demonstrated through the puppy procurement process, but also the obvious care for the breed that takes priority over anything else. She truly wants to better the breed, and in my opinion is succeeding. I started in my career with a German Shepherd and was very fortunate to start with a very strong dog. After being in Malinois for a while, I went back to a GSD and I am so happy to end up with another very strong example of the breed from Konigshaus. Beyond the quality dogs that she is producing, Theresa has created a network of handlers that showcase her dogs capability.  To show up to a training weekend and see over a dozen of her dogs in one place all performing well is incredibly rare, and I have never witnessed it anywhere before. It is one thing to produce and sell quality working dogs, but to establish a culture surrounding a breeding program is truly amazing. I cannot recommend getting a GSD from Theresa enough!

I highly recommend Konigshaus German Shepherds! Theresa has a wealth of experience & knowledge on the breed, best care, health, and reproduction practices. She is an expert trainer from the puppy stuff, all the way up to high level competition. I was so impressed with Theresa's whole process. She was able to match me with a future breeding plan and kept me informed the whole time. It was very exciting to be kept in the loop with pictures and updates. I personally got to see her immaculately clean set up and witness some of the development activities she does with every litter to promote confident, resilient, hard working, thinking puppies! My puppy is now 1 year old. He is social and relaxed around my family, yet morphs into an absolute wild man on the training field. He is EVERYTHING I wanted in a working dog and then some.
